Online Membership Application
You are applying for membership in the Skating Club of North Carolina, Inc., a non-profit United States Figure Skating Association Member Club, for the 2010-2011 membership year (runs from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011).
The SCNC/USFSA membership year ends June 30th. The new membership year runs from 7/1/11 to 6/30/12. Unfortunately USFSA voted to increase our membership fees for the upcoming year. Fees will increase approximately $15. SCNC has decided to let members renew their 2011/2012 memberships at the current membership rates, IF renewed by 5/31. After 5/31, membership rates will increase to cover the USFSA rate increase. You can renew your membership here. Just a reminder that anyone planning to compete or test in July will need to have their memberships renewed prior to the event. Note: the application will say for 2010-2011 but will be for 2011-2012 for those renewing by 5/31.
- You can pay via Paypal immediately or you can pay by mail/in person. If you choose to pay via mail/in person, your payment must be received as soon as possible. Your membership will not be processed with US Figure Skating until payment is received.
- If you select to pay via Paypal you must correctly complete the Paypal payment process. If you complete the Paypal payment process correctly, you will be returned to a "Payment Thank You" page and will receive an invoice from Paypal via email. If you do not properly complete the Paypal payment process, SCNC will attempt to contact you to make arrangements for payment to be completed.
- SCNC uses Paypal for processing online payments. With Paypal, you can pay with:
- a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express),
- an eCheck (an electronic funds transfer that withdraws money directly from your bank account; it's just like writing a check, only it is done electronically), or
- an Instant Transfer (an automatic withdrawal of funds from your bank account to cover the cost of a purchase using PayPal when there are insufficient funds in your PayPal balance).

- All information on the online application must be entered correctly and completely. All current members of US Figure Skating must enter their USFSA number. New US Figure Skating members should enter 0 (zero) in the USFSA Number field on their application. You will receive your USFSA number in the mail from US Figure Skating after your application is processed.
- If you have volunteered for SCNC during the 2009-2010 year, make sure you know how many hours (up to 20 hours ($50) for Family and Junior memberships and up to 10 hours ($25) for Senior and Collegiate memberships). You will need to send a list of your volunteer hours to the SCNC Membership Chair (email to SCNCvolunteer@mindspring.com).

- Select Membership Category
- Enter Member Information for each member that will be included on the membership
- Enter Contact Information
- Enter Volunteer Hours, Read and Agree to Agreement and Select Payment Choice
- Make Payment either by Paypal or by Mail/In Person
