The Skating Club of North Carolina is located in Raleigh, North Carolina and represents skaters throughout the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill areas. Our goal is to promote the sport of figure skating as well as the personal growth and development of our members through a positive figure skating experience. We welcome new members to join our club.

August Test Session
The next test session is Saturday, August 1st. The Test Application is now available (uploaded on 6/20/2009). The deadline to mail applications is Tuesday, July 7th, and to hand in the application to the SCNC Test Chair is Saturday, July 11th.

The 2009 Dogwood Open will be held on Friday, August 14th through Sunday, August 16th at the IcePlex in Raleigh, NC. The deadline for entry forms is Monday, July 6, 2009.
Congratulations to SCNC Skaters!
Congratulations to our Adult National Competitors! Adult Nationals took place the end of April in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Davis Tsai earned the Silver medal in the Men's Artistic/Dramatic Interp I-III event, and also earned the Silver medal with dance partner Lisa Chisholm in the Silver Dance event. Jackie Pusztay, an alternate called to compete right before the event, placed 10th in the Championship Masters Junior-Senior Ladies event.
